This weekend I had the privilege of taking a few pictures of my sweet friend Beth and her fiance Conner in celebration of their engagement. This was a fun thing for a few reasons. One, these two have been dating since they were just a sophomore and senior in high school. Two, we were embracing all things Aggie. Three, taking these pictures required a big step of courage for me. I've realized in the past few weeks that embracing something like photography as a new hobby requires quite the confident leap of faith. The perfectionist in me doesn't want to share pictures with anyone because I know I could do better. I've come to embrace the idea that if I want to get better, I need to share these things. Pictures are such a wonderful thing to share with people, so I'm going to try and be brave and share my journey with you people. As I learn about photography, as I search for design inspiration, as the Lord leads my life, you'll see it. I'm sure there are people who think blogging is just silly but I'm just really excited to be able to look back one day and see such a real portrayal of myself that I used as a creative outlet.

Anyways, back to Beth and Conner. These two were troopers through INSANE wind, and near rainy skies. I don't think that this December wedding could come any sooner. It's been so incredible to see Beth's excitement brewing for this relationship's future as long as I've known her, & the time is finally here! Seeing how these two choose to honor the Lord in how they communicate with one another, how they choose to surround themselves with community, is really encouraging to me. Hope you enjoy this little peek into their precious Aggie life! :)
