Today's prompt of "what I'm learning" comes at a great time. This morning I took some time to really think about the past year, and anticipate the next.
During Twenty- Two:
saw the importance of community,
learned that it was okay not to follow the natural path,
was encouraged and loved by Benjamin Luke,
discovered a love for fresh flowers,
determined that my love language is... all of the love languages,
believed that consistency is key, in so many things... and that:
rest is good,
healing old wounds is great,
what you do in the morning really matters,
and that my passions are there for a reason.
Hopes for Twenty-Three:
more journaling
lots of celebrations
a new career
snuggles with my first niece/nephew in July
exploring Europe with my handsome hubby
honest prayers
bold encouragement of others
deeper study of scripture
creativity on this blog and in my home
Love the goals! Happy belated birthday! :)

ReplyDeleteI am trying to be more faithful in journaling too...cannot wait to hear about your trip to Europe when you go; I've never been to England or Paris before!

ReplyDeleteWhat great goals and dreams to have. I couldn't agree more with your thought of "healing old wounds is great." I too in this season am learning just how great the power of God's healing truly is.
