Blogtember 24: Fall Bucket List

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

Y'all know I'm on board for anything and everything fall related. Peace out, summertime! The other day I read a quote that said "fall is the Southerner's reward for surviving summer." Yes and amen.

Today's Prompt: Your fall bucket list. What do you want to do before winter rolls around?
Bake a Pie
Carve a Pumpkin
Attend a Cold Football Game
Mail a Care Package
Make a fall treat for Ben and his coworkers
Go on a cold day/evening Starbucks date for a Carmel Apple Spice
Plan for and host immediate family Thanksgiving for the second year in a row (tradition! yay!)
Burn and enjoy lots of fall candles
Host an open house with the goal of helping raise awareness for the local clothes closet (maybe. lol!)

What do y'all have on the schedule this fall? I'm open to lots of suggestions to add to this list! :)

  1. This makes me smile! Bake a pie is definitely on my list...carve a Friendsgiving. I love everyyyyything about fall!

  2. Watching Hocus Pocus is moving to the top of my list by the hour. I haven't watched it in years and it always puts me in the fall mood. :)

  3. Love your list! I love that quote that you mentioned about fall being a southerner's reward for summer. So true!

  4. I've never had a caramel apple spice at sbucks before. I need to try that!!

  5. Mulled apple cider and apple picking are on my list this year! Love yours! just busted out the candles this afternoon :)

  6. I think fall bucket lists are my absolute FAVORITE! I really would like to make monkey bread, purchase more fall candles (I have burned through almost two in the past week!), and find a tv series to cuddle up and watch!

  7. I'm totally stealing your "bake a pie" idea! I'm thinking an apple pie or crisp after I go apple picking with some friends. Mmm... :)

  8. I love fall candles!! The scents of fall are addicting to me! Check out my list!

  9. Oh girl I am ready for some fall weather! Your list is great! We'll have to put a lunch date on our "winter bucket lists" for my holiday break :)
