I do however read books, so let's look at Sunday's prompt: What's on your current reading list? Or what have you read that you'd recommend?

I actually shared a recent reading list here.
The books that were on this list were:
- The Duck Commander Family
- The Women of Duck Commander
- Jesus > Religion by Jefferson Bethke
- Hands Free Mama by Rachel Macy Stafford
- The Antelope in the Living Room by Melanie Shankle
- Sparkly Green Earrings by Melanie Shankle
- The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller
I like to read both a fiction and nonfiction book at the same time.. so does anyone have a "fun book" recommendation? :)
Gosh, I love Jefferson Bethke. Haven't read his book yet, though. I'm not sure if my recommendation is a "fun book", but I absolutely LOVE it. Here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0529116871/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
ReplyDeleteDon't let the title fool you. It's all about showing God's love in practical ways. Since I've read a few books by authors you mentioned above, I'll be checking out the rest of your list!
I just read if I stay too! I've become a big fan of audio books. My commute is 30min there and 30min home so it's been perfect to "read" those fun little books like If I Stay.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to hear what you thought about the rest of the books on your list because I've considered a few of those.
OOOH I've only read like half of these, so I've written down the others to put on my list! LOVE me a book list. Mine is never ending, but that's just the way I like it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for suggesting Gayle Forman! I've been wanting to read her book If I Stay since there is a movie coming out. I'll have to check out her other books!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend the book Edenbrooke. And easy, quick, historical novel. Definitely one of my new favorites.
ReplyDeleteMy book club read Orphan Train a few months ago and I loved it!!! It's great historical fiction! Also, I made your spaghetti squash casserole tonight. So good!! My husband said it was one of his favorites!
