I honestly can't believe I actually just wrote 2016. That seems like zillions of years away. I can't believe it will be SEVEN years since we graduated high school. Wowza.
Anyway! I love trying new recipes when I get the chance.. but I think the hardest thing is choosing ones to try and having them on hand when you're planning the grocery trip. On a Monday morning when I'm ready to hop in the car, it's not practical for me to suddenly search for some new recipes to try. It's been on my mind for awhile to make a blog post where I compile a bunch of recipes that I'd love to try, so that next time I need a new one, I can just go to the next on the list. And, hopefully this will inspire y'all to try some new recipes in the new year as well! :) As I compiled this list, I realized it was dessert heavy.. and I actually very, very rarely make desserts. Oops. I'm planning on adding any new recipes I find and want to try to this list as I go along throughout the year. If you have any great recipe suggestions.. leave them in a comment! I'd love to check them out! :)

Some of your recipes look fabulous and I'm eager to check them out. One thing which helps me greatly is having all of my favorites uploaded to Dropbox. That way if I make a quick stop at the grocery I can pull up recipes on my phone to make sure I pick up the right ingredients. If it's a no-fail, tried and true favorite I BOLD the name so I can find those faster. And if I haven't actually tried a recipe yet but hope to, it's in a folder named "to try." My girls especially love my system because I sent them a link to my Dropbox file and they can access the recipes as well! Hope this helps!

ReplyDeleteGirl, my 10 year high school reunion is next year, and Austen's is this year. That just seems ridiculous to me.
