My one goal December allows me to start off my January goals with a clean slate, and I love it! Our December was one of the most wonderful months. Truly. We loved every second of enjoying the Christmas season with Beau. It was so much fun. I felt like we grew in our marriage and as a family with having Ben off work for two full weeks. I'll be sharing what we did for those two weeks tomorrow, because one of the most surprising results to me in my recent blog reader survey was that people want to see more recaps of our personal life. I'll be sharing more of those results on Thursday, but overall I'm so grateful for y'all giving me such great feedback. You're going to be getting a lot more consistent content from me in the coming days!
January Goals:
Have our kitchen backsplash redone
begin sharing our new home on the blog (living room next Monday!)
Host Polly's Baby Shower
start strong on my 2017 goals
one sugar treat each week, I'm feeling rotten from all the Christmas treats
wake up an hour earlier during the week than I have been, hello 5am! (I'm convinced that 5am is the answer to all my problems, haha!)
I can't wait to see your new backsplash! And you can encourage me to stay away from sweets and I'll encourage you in your 5 AM wake ups!!
ReplyDeleteShay Shull's day in the life posts always inspired/encourage to set and stick to that early wake up time!
ReplyDeleteHooray for new beginnings and making the most of mornings! I have made it my mission to adjust my wakeup time to 6am over the next few days to start each day off well and give ample time for a meaningful morning routine :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I'm ready for the refreshment that comes with the new year! I love that you share your goals with us (& I'm excited to see your living room!), you've inspired me to be more transparent with my goals...maybe it'll help me actually reach them if others know about them?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, to you & yours :)

One of my big goals for the year is to get morning/evening routines going. And that means getting up earlier for me too. WOOHOO! ;)
